This is the third time that Richard Blake has come to Norfolk to talk about being Gay and Disabled but it's the first time that we've got enough time to talk to him afterwards! Richard introduced the screening of MILK last year as part of the LGBT History Month celebrations and also did a short workshop at the first Norwich Pride on 25th July 2009.
The workshop will have a simple format - Richard will do a short talk about what it's been like for him coming out and he'll show his 5 minute DVD. Michelle Savage from Shelly Telly and Norwich Pride will then chair a discussion.
The event is for anyone who wants to attend. It will be of particular interest to people with learning difficulties, their family carers and supporters.
Cost:The event is free but we will be sending round a bucket for any contributions to help towards the room hire etc.
