A display of books by LGBT authors in the Library and paintings by LGBT artists whose work is featured in media held by the Library, in the display cabinet in D1 building.
Church Service at the John Pounds Memorial Church, High Street, Old Portsmouth. This starts at 6.30pm and all are welcome. Refreshments will be available with tea/coffee and wine afterwards. Debbie is the writer/performer of the show "Get Happy" that looks back at the life of Judy Garland just before she began her concert tour that culminated in the legendary Carnegie Hall concert.

Is this storming the barricades or weathering the storm? In this talk Peter Billingham will focus upon two hugely successful TV comedies from the 1970s Are You Being Served? and It Aint Half Hot Mum as barometers of British society at the time and especially attitudes towards gay men. Irreverent, hilarious and provocative (and that's just the talk). I'm Free will feature DVD extracts from both shows.

The University of Bristol Students Union are hosting a fair for the LGBT Community of the South West. This will include students not only from our University, but also around ten other institutions and the general public. The entire first floor will be open with stalls including:
- Careers - The Scene i.e. nightclubs & bars - Commercial Companies - Charity & Voluntary Groups - Sports & Leisure - Media
There will also be a bar open for refreshments. It is Free admission. Doors close at 8pm.
