Rainbow Source is LGBT radio for Cornwall and beyond. We are doing a series of programmes over the month on LGBT history, having guests and special presenters.
Why not get your mates together into a team, go to your favourite bar and help them to win the Best of the Bars quiz? This year's competition involves bars in Camden, Hackney, Westminster and Islington! Questions will be on a variety of topics including LGBT History, Trivia and General Knowledge. The top team scores from each venue will be collated by Camden LGBT Forum and there's a silver cup for the winning bar and each winning team will receive a bottle of champagne!

This is being shown as part of LGBT History Month and provides a lead up to the LGBT History exhibition at the Broadway Studio. George Falconer (played by Colin Firth), a 52 year old British college professor is struggling to find meaning to his life after the death of his long time partner, Jim. George dwells on the past and cannot see his future as we follow him through a single day, where a series of events and encounters, ultimately lead him to decide if there is a meaning to life.

Veteran campaigner Lindsay River shares her personal history, as well as describing LGBT activism within the wider community and the role of lesbian and bisexual women within it.
There will be a presentation, "LGBT in Justice", showing the development of legislation against LGBT people from the Buggery Act 1533 via the Wolfenden Report & the Sexual Offences Act 1967 to the present Equality Bill. The Ministry of Justice also warmly invites representatives of LGBT support groups based in the London area to attend and take advantage of the opportunity after the presentation to voice any concerns about the LGBT experience of the court and tribunal system.
