Barbara Ross is the founder of the Norfolk based Gender Identity Services.
Having worked in the field of Gender Dysphoria for over 35 years Barbara has witnessed the gradual shift in attitudes by society and medical professionals leading to an increased acceptance of both the validity and enormity of the challenges faced by the Gender Dysphoric individual.
Whilst improved social and medical insight is by no means wholescale, it hopefully indicates that the blanket prejudice once faced by those with gender related issues is finally being addressed. An informal sesion with tea and cakes! Cost £5 on the day but numbers are limited so YOU MUST book in advance by e-mailing history@norwichpride.org.uk
