Women's Self Defence  (Lesbian Bi & Transwomen welcome)
The class involves kickboxing - giving a really good workout, instruction on body and speech awareness  with some role play and 'no force' physical self defence drills Why not come along - you will be in good company, learn a new skill and have great fun!

Once upon a time there were three Children Zeb, Martina and Jojo. Zeb's family was shattered by war so now he lives with his granny...Martina lives with her two mums... Jojo comes from a wealthy family which is falling apart... One wonderful summer, things happen that would change their lives forever...PRETEND FAMILIES is a funny and moving participatory play aimed at children aged 7 - 11 yrs.

LGBT History Display
A display including an illustrated timeline of events since 1967 - with a Nottingham focus. A Powerpoint presentation of 530 famous LGBT faces will be shown.  In attendance will be David Edgley (of Nottingham Switchboard's LGBT History Project, also editor of QB, Nottinghamshire's Queer Bulletin) and Brian Crosby of Unison.

LGBT History Month Exhibition (all month)
An exhibition that looks at the history og LGBT Burnley, that covers the development of LGBT History Month itself and celebrates the lives and achievements of a range of famous LGBT people in the Arts and Literature. It includes a celebration of the life of Sir Ian McKellen, Burnley's most famous son and a personal message from him to the people of Burnley for LGBT History Month, of which he is patron.

Clapaham Common LGBT Roadshow
Officers from Lambeth Police LGBT liaison team and Community Safety Unit will be present with officers from Lambeth Council's Community Safety Unit, Victim Support Lambeth, British Transport Police, Transport for London and other agencies to encourage people to report LGBT hate crime and provide support and contact details, while highlighting the importance of LGBT in Lambeth to the broader community.
