Southwark LGBT Network AGM
Established in 2002, The Southwark LGBT Network is a social and support group of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and their friends who live and work in Southwark. The Network is run by volunteers from the LGBT community and aims to create a series of safe spaces for all LGBT people in the borough. It tries to ensure that its activities are not set in pubs or other alcohol related venues.

The Network was set up to complement the work of the Anti-Homophobic Forum by capacity building within the LGBT communities.

The Network aims are, to:
· Reduce the isolation felt by LGBT people in Southwark and create a diverse and vibrant community; and
· Enable the LGBT community in Southwark engage effectively with other agencies.

LGBT Health in London
This is an exiciting opportunity for people to join a panel led discussion on the provision of health services for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in London. Speakers include Stephen Whittle (PfC), Will Nutland (THT) and Ruth Hunt (Stonewall).

LGBT Pub Quiz Night
LGBT themed pub quiz at The Crown Inn (aka Corner Cupboard). Prizes for the winners. Free sandwiches provided.

The Journey
A film.  Kiran and Delilah have been friends since childhood. Raised as neighbours in rural countryside, Kiran develops a growing feeling of isolation because of her sexual desire for her friend.  Fear and apprehension turn to passion as they embark on a clandestine romance.  Once the gossipy community discovers the true nature of their relationship, they are forced to confront the response of prejudice in a community where arranged marriage is the only acceptable union.
