LGBT Lives – An Exhibition

An historical trip through time revealing the lives of ordinary LGBT people as well as some better known individuals and how events, legislation and the police have impacted on them. Until 10 Feb

Four Kent Libraries

Kent County Libraries are to hold displays of books in four of their main libraries. Gravesend, Maidstone and Canterbury will have displays of books for the Big Gay Read 2006 event, while Folkestone will have a general display of LGBT titles. Dartford Library will hold an Art Exhibition. After February, the Big Gay Read displays will tour other libraries in the county. From 6th Feb - 28th Feb

Gay Birmingham Remembered

An opportunity to view and comment on the display, followed by a series of short reminiscences on LGBT history and experiences in the city. Discussion and proposals for collecting and recording Birmingham’s LGBT history. Followed by chat and light refreshments ( Linked to display in Central Library from 1 st – 20 th February)

Stamping out homophobia: all over the world, London

A trades union conference to raise awareness of lgbt issues around the world, and discuss what trade unions and trade unionists can do, organised by the TUC.
