In Lola (inspired by the famous pop song by The Kinks) a gay transvestite is falsely accused of trying to pick up a plain-clothes undercover police officer in a gay club. But the ‘plain-clothes’ worn by the policeman are made of black leather! Made for British television in 1976 - one year after the better-known The Naked Civil Servant – this thought-provoking drama was astonishingly enlightened and radical for the time it was made.

The event is organised by OurStory Scotland, a recognised Scottish charity devoted to collecting, archiving and presenting the stories of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in Scotland.
