Roger Taber
From the mother of a gay son: I am the mother of a gay son and am writing to tell you about a collection of poems I was given for Christmas - The Third Eye: poems by R. N. Taber. Like his other volumes - Love And Human Remains & First Person Plural - it has a gay section; there are also gay poems in other sections where appropriate. As far as I know, Roger Taber is the only contemporary poet who combines gay and other poems in his work. I have also seeen some of his gay poems in (general) Forward Press anthologies. My family enjoy Roger Taber's poetry very much but his gay poetry touches us in particular as it was not easy coming to terms with my son being gay. I have been in touch with Roger by e-mail. My son and the rest of our family especially applaud the fact that he expresses the view that gay poetry should no more be seen as a genre-within-a-genre separate from mainstream poetry/literature than gay men and women should be seen as separate from mainstream society. Details of his poetry collections are on amazon.co.uk as well as some reviews; there is also an amazon link on his home page.

Inspired by the 2005 Lesbian and Gay History Month. As part of the University of York and as an archive used by students, academics and members of the general public we wanted to produce a website which would encourage researchers to consider LGBT history and provide a teaching resource (aimed largely but not only at undergraduate courses) with general research guidance and sample "case studies" from the 16th to the 18th centuries, taken from the documents we hold here. A grant to design and develop the site was provided by the University of York's Equality and Diversity in the Curriculum Project from the HEFCE Teaching Quality Enhancement Fund.

Educational resources based around the documentary Paragraph 175 . Paragraph 175 was a 1871 German law, amended by the Nazis and kept on the German law books until 1969, because of it some of the victims who were there for homosexuality were sent directly to prison and that it took years for them to be recognised as victims of the concentration camps (The official apology from the German government came in 2001!!!).

We have created this site for black lgbt people and their friends . This is a site for everyone! No matter what race you are, we all share a common philosophy -- that is, that we welcome diversity. Rejoice, enjoy, and explore the diversities, differences, and excitement of our cultures. Let's work towards making a world where there is no racism, prejudice and homophobia. It's our diversity that makes us strong! Although the site is titled 'UK Black Out', we do not mean to exclude any race. We are simply trying to provide a service for which there is a gap in the market. Everyone is welcomed to participate. We do not promote racial divide. In fact, we will post information on any topic which we think is relevant to our audience, be it black, white, Asian, or Latin.

Mermaids
Mermaids is a support group for gender variant children and teenagers . Our aims are simple: We aim to support children and teenagers up to age 19, who are trying to cope with gender identity issues. In support of this one aim, we also intend to: offer support to parents, families, carers, and others; raise awareness about gender issues amongst professionals (e.g. teachers, doctors, social services, etc.) and the general public; campaign for the recognition of this issue and the increase in professional services.

Press for Change
This site aims to be a newspaper, library and resource centre rolled into one. Nowhere else in the world will you find such a comprehensive collection of information about the trans rights campaign, and details about the legal, medical, political and social issues surrounding the people it represents. If you're a trans person, we aim to raise your consciousness. If you're a researcher or a journalist we want you to have everything you could possibly want to report us accurately and fairly. If you're a campaigner already, we want to provide you with the very best resources. And if you're not, we'd like to show you what an astonishing challenge we face.
