LGBT History Month 2007 Volunteers Wanted: Website contributions

Would you like to be a part of LGBT History Month 2007? We are looking for volunteers to help us build the content on our website. Are you a budding writer or photographer, do you have a story to tell? If so, we would love to hear from you! Some the voluntary contributions we are looking for are:

• reviews of books or films of LGBT interest
• suggestions for useful/interesting website links
• nominations for our "Favourite LGBT person" history poll (see examples here)
• personal histories: were you present at a key moment in LGBT history? Could you write about it?
• biographies of famous LGBT people from history

LGBT History Month 2007 Volunteers Wanted: Sponsorship/Marketing skills

We are also looking for volunteers with experience of obtaining sponsorship and advertising to help raise revenue for LGBT History Month and the many costs associated with the project. We need people who can:

• Raise sponsorship from national/local companies and organisations
• Generate advertising from national/local companies and organisations
• Generate publicity for LGBT History Month
• Offer help with PR and marketing

This is an ideal chance for individuals with the right skills, experience and dedication to help support LGBT History Month 2007, and enhance your CV with work on a national, high-profile project.
